NEW member meeting June 2, 2025
A member of the Youth Equestrian Development Association (YEDA) a draw format based equestrian competition.
The NAH team members compete as a team and individual basis in Western Stock Seat which include Horsemanship, Ranch Riding and Reining. There is no need for any rider to own a horse. The MISSION of our equestrian program is to introduce students in private and public middle and secondary schools to equestrian sports and to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction. The PURPOSE is to set minimum standards for competition, promote the common interests of safe riding instruction, competition and education on matters related to equestrian sport for riders in grades 4th thru 12th. Through YEDA, students have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college education through riding exposure, awards in competition, the scholarship incentive fun (SIF) and sportsmanship activities. Team NAH currently has a Western team. We are always accepting new team members and love to share this wonderful YEDA experience with others. Riders interested in competing with the team must have ONE year of riding instruction from an approved instructor to be eligible for competition per rules. We are currently accepting new students in preparation for next years team so if you would like to find out more about Team Need A Hand please contact us via email or phone.
